Family Action

Family Action is a voluntary, home visiting partnership with families in need of short term relief and long term planning to keep children safe and healthy.
The program focuses on the following to reduce or eliminate the risk of out of home placement for children:
  • Housing stability
  • Employment Support
  • Emotional and Physical Well-being
  • Skill Building (parenting, budgeting, communications, decision making and problem solving)
Each family action plan is unique and pursues the goals of:
  • financial self-sufficiency
  • enhanced family functioning
  • community involvement
