All proceeds from ticket sales benefit programs at Community Action Partnership that support local families.
Diane Ryan, Deputy Director at CAP says, “Through this Mini-Golf Family Fun Day event we want to let people know what CAP is all about while bringing families together for a fun-filled event that will raise money for our programs so as to alleviate our dependency on federal and state funding. The need in our community is as great as ever, but sadly funding is dwindling and through events like these we hope to raise community support and awareness.”
Mini-golf ticket prices are $6 for adults, $4 for children under 10, and under 5 is free. A family pass is $20. Shepard Links Café will be open for refreshments. The event will also include a raffle of themed baskets. Area community businesses and families have already contributed baskets and tee green sponsorships in honor of CAP’s 30 years in Madison County. So far these generous supporters include, The Lincklaen House in Cazenovia, Nana’s Custom Crafted Doll Clothing of Verona, Earlville Opera House, Wendt University Inn in Hamilton, Hamilton Theater, Troops Scoops in Bouckville, Parry’s – Hamilton’s Modern Day General Store, Salon 100 Spa of Fayetteville, Bows and Gifts Galore of Canastota, Bryant & Stratton College, and Don & Cathy Casler recognizing their 30th year of marital partnership. Established in 1983, CAP is the only not-for-profit, non-governmental agency in Madison County with a mission to serve the low-income community. CAP serves individuals, families, and the community through a variety of programs. Last year CAP served approximately 5,000 individuals, nearly one in fourteen Madison County residents.
