National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week is held each year the week before Thanksgiving.  This is a time for all of us to think about what we are thankful for and a perfect time to share our compassion with our neighbors who are less fortunate.

Community Action Partnership operates many programs that work to alleviate hunger and assist the   homeless. This year we are gathering hygiene products in all of our offices to distribute.  Items can include: toothbrush, tooth paste, band aids, toilet paper, deodorant, baby wipes, facial tissue, feminine hygiene products, shampoo and conditioner, soap & body wash.

These can be dropped off at any one of our offices at New Market Drive, Canastota   OR 3 E. Main Street, Morrisville   OR Northside Shopping Plaza, Gorman Center   BEFORE 11/21/14.  These are items desperately needed by homeless families and those at risk of being homeless.  These items are not allowed to be purchased with SNAP (Food Stamps) so many families have to go without!
