Community Action Partnership would not be able to serve over 1,400 Madison County families (that’s over 4,500 individuals!) each year without the generosity of donors like you.  Your contribution will help support a number of programs and services designed to help local families become and remain self-sufficient.  When you donate, you aren’t giving a hand out—you’re giving a hand up to a neighbor in need. 

Here is an example of how your donation can help make our community a better place to live:

Sally was a savvy shopper who used coupons and sales to help her save money for her family.  When her house was robbed and all of her food, medication, and personal items were stolen, she was forced to use all her hard-earned savings to pay rent, electric, gas, and medicine copays.  CAP provided her with emergency food and diapers, as well as a $40 Walmart gift card to help her provide for her family until her next paycheck.  CAP gave Sally hope that she could overcome this difficult time and start saving for the future again.     

Too often, factors outside a family’s control upset plans for self-sufficiency.  CAP services, made possible through the generosity of donors like you, help Madison County residents use their inherent strength and tenacity to overcome the odds and attain self-sufficiency.
